Services
Intersection counts are recorded by approach, movement and vehicle class, including pedestrian and bicycle movements where a study requires them.
Segment volumes are collected over 24- or 48-hour periods and reported by direction in 15-minute intervals, with daily totals and average daily traffic.
Vehicle classification counts are reported by class, direction and hour, using FHWA classes 5 through 13 or the full 1 through 13 where required.
Spot and segment speed studies on residential streets, arterials and freeways are reported as 85th-percentile speed, pace and a distribution by speed bin.
Pedestrian and bicycle counts at intersections and along corridors are reported by crossing or screenline in 15-minute intervals for multimodal studies.
Count results are delivered in GIS-native form as interactive dashboards, web maps and State Plane shapefiles, with secure online access to approved data.
Site assessments, intersection inventories and ADA pedestrian-facility walkthroughs are delivered as condition diagrams, photo sets and GIS point features.

How we work
The client provides locations, study types, count periods and dates. TDS confirms what is feasible, notes any constraints, and returns a written scope and price.
Counts are collected by vision-based, non-intrusive methods on representative weekdays agreed in advance, so that no crew member works in live traffic.
Every deliverable is reviewed internally before it is released. If a recount is required, TDS performs it at its own expense.
Raw records are retained, so that any interval in any deliverable can be checked against the original.
Data is delivered as spreadsheets, PDF summaries with intersection diagrams, 15-minute raw files and Synchro-ready UTDF files, with GIS deliverables on request.

Send the locations, study types and dates for the project and TDS Traffic will return a written scope and price. Or email support@tdstraffic.com.
